For whom? And why?

This project is aimed at businesses, organizations, schools, events, conferences, symposiums, festivals, etc.

Description

The project involves creating an indoor or outdoor mural, engaging participants in all stages of the creative process. Participants (young or old) will work together with the guidance of artist Sophie Stella Boivin, an experienced mural designer and producer.

Depending on the size of the wall, projects can involve anywhere from two to more than ten participants. Project duration can vary from a few days to several weeks, depending on the complexity of the artwork.

Participatory MURAL Impact

Dynamic interaction, a sense of belonging, respect for the environment, and the development of participants' creative potential are significant aims of the project. Participants will develop technical skills related to mural painting, which will foster independence in their future personal projects.

The results in terms of individual development are self-evident: increased self-esteem and self-worth, learning to work in a group, acquisition of work discipline, development of greater professional autonomy, personal responsibility, respect for difference and the environment, increased tolerance and open-mindedness, etc.

This colourful process also helps to promote networking among participants from different sectors, to stimulate learning and mutual sharing of knowledge, and to experience firsthand the power of a mural as a communication vehicle within the community.
